Dr Shivani Desai is a hardcore researcher. Research is her birthright as she is born on National Science Day (28 Feb). She is passionate and deeply involved in Diabetes Research. She wishes to devote her entire career to converting Diabetes "Type 1 to Type None" following the slogan of JDRF.
Dr Shivani Desai is self-motivated, perceptive, a sharp individual and takes that extra effort to achieve her goal. Her openness to feedback means she’s always learning and growing as a learner, an impressive strength that will continue to serve her well in her professional career and beyond. Rarely do you come across someone who is talented at both big picture ideas and executing the small details — Shivani is just that person.
Dr Shivani Desai plans to develop a poly vaccine for the prevention and better control of Type 1 diabetes. I am very much impressed by her keen interest to learn new aspects of diabetes. Her research zeal is evident from her recent publications in a span of one year.
